FreeGeek Columbus will now only be open 5:30PM to 9PM on Fridays effective immediately.

Tuesday Shop Hours Changed

FreeGeek Columbus will now close at 8:30 PM on Tuesday nights effective immediately.

New Board members!

The FreeGeek Columbus Board of Directors recently elected new members:

  • Steve Lefevere

All four new members are enthusiastic about serving FreeGeek Columbus, and they bring a variety of skills and passions to the organization. If you see one of them at the shop, please take a moment to congratulate them!

Stepping down from the Board is Robb Ebright, who has served on the Board since it was established in 2005. Thanks, Robb, for all your hard work!

Committee to plan Community Council

A special committee has been created by the board of directors to make plans for a Community Council that will make organization-wide decisions regarding policy and operations.  The first meeting of this committee will be held on Sunday 11/22/2009 at 2pm at Summit United Methodist Church (location info).  All FreeGeek Columbus volunteers in good standing are welcome to attend and participate.
