If you have a question, we would appreciate it if you'd take the time to look around this site before emailing or calling us. Answers to many questions may be found on this site, and the less time we spend answering questions, the more time we can spend helping our neighbors learn about computers!

Please don't send us snail mail. Save yourself a stamp and save the world a tree! We are able to respond to e-mails and phone calls much more quickly than snail mail.

Our shop
We have a workshop where we do all of our computer work. This is where new volunteers should come to participate and where donors should come to drop off equipment. The shop is located in the basement of the Summit United Methodist Church. The address is:

Columbus, Ohio 43201

A photo and diagram of the building are available from the Franklin County Auditor's Website and have been reproduced below for your convenience. You may click on either picture for a link to the higher-quality original.
Parking
Most of the parking around the church is rented to OSU students to help raise money for the church. Please be respectful of the church and only park in FreeGeek designated areas. FreeGeek volunteers and donors may park in any of the following spots:
- Numbered spaces 13, 14, and 15 behind the building.
- Near the back of the building and parallel to it (spots are not marked, please use common sense to allow the maximum number of people to park here)
- In metered spaces on the streets surrounding the church (most meters are free after 6pm, but check to be sure.)
- On the street in areas that are not designated "Permit Only". Be careful when doing this, so you don't get ticketed or towed.
Entrance
Our main entrance is on the back-side of the building (i.e. where the parking lot is). if you are dropping off, park near the green door with the small concrete porch and come in through that door. There is a small FreeGeek sign on the window to the left of the door.
